Russian Billionaire Outrages Greenwich With Supermansion
There has been some recent controversy about a massive project that involves an $18M teardown on Simmons Lane in Greenwich, CT.Â
I found a link to this interesting article that not only discusses the plans for the 27,000 SF estate, but gives us a bit of a snapshot of the buyer as well. Â
I can’t say that I know the correct Russian description for “outrageous”, but my limited dictionary here shows me that the word defining “big” is being expressed as ???????. Of course Andrei will have to confirm this for me.
This is the house that supposedly has plans for 26 toilets.  I suppose that by having 26 toilets, one should be able to flush large amounts of money down them most efficiently.

That’s right “Bolshoi” means BIG as in Bolshoi Theater. Although, it sounds like this house is going to be bigger than Bolshoi Theater.
Sometime I wonder what I left behind when I immigrated to the US from Russia in 1992 ……

We should all be cheering,its a symbol of capitalism.Who would have ever believed the soviets moved towards capitalism and we are becoming marxists and it all is happening without a whimper.God bless you comrade

Kogan is know to be a a major contact with Putin and does a lot of deals under the table work in Moscow. The Mansion is being built for his wife, my question is why isn’t the US government monitoring this, and even more so for a person with no legal documents in this country how is finding it so easy to get things done in such a powerful community, something smells bad here, and based on Kogan’s background you can bet the house on it being illegal. They rob the ppl there they hide it here.
