On March 13, Teardowns.com was invited to attend a meeting held by the Westchester Building & Realty Institute (BRI) at the Crown Plaza hotel in White Plains, NY.  BRI Executive Director Al Annunziata extended the kind invite. Cher Wyskiel, Jonathan Marwell & Liz Cresci of the Greenwich, CT office attended.

There were some great conversations & introductions made to us, and dinner was terrific. There were several interesting speakers at the meeting that discussed the topics “Useful Tax Strategies: 1031 Exchanges; Accounting Tips for Small Businesses” and “Marketing Strategies for your Business in Tough Times”, and a short q & a followed.

I thought this was a useful event for us to attend as we expand further into the Westchester teardown market. There was a lot of good information to exchange, and we had the opportunity to meet builders from Westchester who are clearly receptive to Teardowns.com.
